Sales Sherpa Influencer #10 – Grant Cardone
While we didn’t cut our teeth in the auto industry as a Sales Professional (It actually was thanks to Burpee seeds being sold door to door for a pup-tent!), we collectively spent a number of years there. One of the legends of sales training therein was none other than Grant Cardone. He’s since migrated into other industries (We know the reason why!), but his message hasn’t changed. At SalesSherpaGPS, we look at many of the foundational moments that Grant Cardone teaches as instrumental in our business operation.
Sales Sherpa Influencer #9 – Zig Ziglar
At SalesSherpaGPS we know that quality never goes out of style. The same could be said about B2B Sales Acceleration influencers such as Zig Ziglar. He passed away back in 2012, however the volumes of Sales Leadership advice that he left behind serve as the quality inspiration for a lot of our Sales Sherpa models.

Ok, banana hands aside, Tony Robbins was instrumental in shaping, or should we say awakening the giant within each of our Sales Sherpas?!? Another rags to riches success story, Tony not only established the mental fortitude required for SalesSherpaGPS success, but the discipline it takes for B2B Sales Acceleration as a Sales Sherpa to get up every day and get something wonderful done.
Sales Sherpa Influencer #6 – Anthony Iannarino
So far we’ve spent a lot of time talking about some of the foundational Sales Sherpa Influencers that have helped in our B2B Sales Acceleration Platform. But let’s credit a more recent influencer in Anthony Iannarino for helping the Sales Sherpa’s raise their intellectual game. Sales could be long-thought of as selling snake oil from a covered wagon. Anthony Iannarino reminds us at SalesSherpaGPS that this is a profession that you can stand proudly within. We were turned on to Anthony from a Sales Sherpa Influencer to be named later (He’s #1!)
Sales Sherpa Influencer #5 – Dr. Jeffrey Magee
What’s not to like about someone that combines Academia with Sales? If we like Anthony Iannarino (#6 on our Sales Sherpa Influencers list), we love Dr. Jeffrey Magee! Why? Not only does he combine wisdom with solid selling foundational moments so as to achieve B2B Sales Acceleration, but when you suck he’ll tell you that you suck! (In full disclosure, Dr. Magee is an active participant in our B2B Sales Acceleration Platform offerings at SalesSherpaGPS).
Sales Sherpa Influencer #4 – Jeb Blount
If everything is better with gravy on it, then pour some Jeb Blount on everything we do at SalesSherpaGPS!!! We’ve known Jeb’s work for years, and his “Fanatical Prospecting” book is considered one of our B2B Sales Acceleration Bibles at SalesSherpaGPS (Heck, one of our Sales Sherpas carries it with him on every climb and reads aloud from it every night!)
Sales Sherpa Influencer #3 – Deb Calvert
With over 20+ years of sales training experience, we love Deb Calvert’s message. She recently partnered with Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner (of “The Leadership Challenge” fame) to author “Stop Selling & Start Leading: How to Make Extraordinary Sales Happen.” Deb Calvert’s client list is a who’s who of the Fortune 500, and that’s exactly the type of Sales Leadership professionalism that we model at SalesSherpaGPS.
Sales Sherpa Influencer #2 – Gary Vaynerchuk
Ok, ok… We get that all of the “Crush It!” kumbaya noise may not be a Sales Sherpa favorite at SalesSherpaGPS (After all, we survived those General Motor’s SATURN days with the “I say, I say… “ chants!) However, there’s something about Gary Vaynerchuk regarding B2B Sales Acceleration and his no-nonsense approach to building businesses and people. Gary delivers a mindshift for Sales Sherpas that most Sales Leaders need to adopts. Besides, he’s killing it on all fronts right now and we love that at SalesSherpaGPS!
Sales Sherpa Influencer #1 – Jeffrey Gitomer
